Microsoft Office For Free: You Can Use It For Free Next Year 2021

If you are asked to choose just two software among the best software 2020, you’d probably choose Microsoft Office and other important software. That’s how important MS Office can be.

You know you have to subscribe to Microsoft Office, either by buying a one-time license or subscribing to Office 365. But now, Microsoft seems to have gotten a gift for you next year 2021 as it plans to roll out a new subscription-less version of MS Office in 2021.

According to PCMag, Microsoft made a brief mention of this in an Exchange Team blog published on Tuesday. Microsoft says, “Microsoft Office will also see a new perpetual release for both Windows and Mac, in the second half of 2021.” But no further information is available about it at this time.

Currently, there are some ways you can enjoy Microsoft office for free. This will let you enjoy Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for free. Also, if you are a student or educator, you can get those programs and OneDrive, Skype and a lot of other programs for free, but your school must have an Office 365 Education plan.

It will be interesting to see the features Microsoft adds to its already great and productive programs. Recently, Microsoft added a new transcription tool to Word online and you can also translate your text to many different languages right inside your Word document.

Although Microsoft doesn’t seem to like the outright license buying of its products, It still allows people to pay for the license of its programs every year. With Microsoft wanting to offer a few of its features for the free next year 2021, we cross fingers and await the features it will be willing to offer for free.

We all love something free, so it makes sense for Microsoft to provide you and me with some free features. But of course, we all know that all these could be marketing gimic.
